Pop-Up card

The Pop-Up card is the trend right now. There are so many people making this card, I don't even know who to say I am copying or in the Stampin' Up! family we say "Case'd" (Copy And Share Everything). But I am using Dawn Griffith's, Dawn's Stamping Thoughts, measurements.

This was my first attempt. I am very happy with how it turned out. I used the Dino Days stamp set and the Dino Dies. Both of these items are on the retired list and the Dino Dies marked down to $14 (US)!

I have been wanted to play with Pampered Pets Suite , so.............

The DSP makes the front of the card really cute, but I really like the inside.

I am happy to say that both the stamp set and the dies will be in the next catalog. However, they won't be a bundle. So if you want them, get them now as a bundle and save 10%!
The "Happy Birthday" stamp is from the Hey Birthday Chick stamp set.
I used the Shaped Stitched dies and the Laying Oval dies to cut the hole and layer the front. Which are 2 essential products for us paper crafters. I am sad to say these are the retired list, so if you don't have them, get them now before they sell out!
Then I wanted to play with some others layering dies for the front, so I thought, Hippos. Why hippos? Because the Hippo & Friends dies have 3 layering dies! It also bundles with a really cute stamp set, Hippo Happiness. And yes, I am happy to say both are carrying over to the next catalog, but NOT at the bundle price.

As this is card is really cute, stamping and cutting all those little animals was quite the task, so I decided to use something a little faster, this is what I came up with next.

I used the Butterfly Gala stamp set and the Butterfly Duet punch. Both of these items are on the retired list. But I am happy to say both are still available ( but only while supplies last) even though the punch is now only $7.20!!
This card was fast and pretty easy. I guess you could even say cheap, now that the punch is on sale, but love how it turned out.
I wanted to use another layering die from the set to see if it would work on the Pop-Up card. Here is what I came up with and what I use in the video below.

This one is my favorite. I love the shape of this die for the front of the card. The "Happy Birthday" comes for the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set. I love the font of that stamp.
I hope you had fun as I walked you through my Pop-Up card experience. If you try the Pop-Up card, let me know what supplies you used.
Thanks for stopping by,
Kathy
